Burning Man 2012 – A Documentary

As you can see in a couple of my previous posts, I love Burning Man in Secondlife. One of the reasons I love it so much, is that it tries to mimic the Burning Man in real world Nevada. I remember when Burning Man first started out – I had just started university back then – and some of my fellow students were going. I thought the idea of meeting in the desert at a sort of Roskilde Festival (that I knew and attended many times) was just awesome. And I wanted to go. Back then I couldn’t afford it, and now I wouldn’t get the US visa. Anyhow… I see the films from the Real Burning Man and I still find it amazing. It looks like so much fun.

I love that I am able to attend a virtual Burning Man via SecondLife, and I love that the community tries so hard to make it look and feel like the real thing (but without the dust). The crazy art is there, the fun art-cars are there, the parties, the sand and even the Burning Man. It’s great and I look forward to next year.
