I have not been online much and hardly in-world – I’ve spend most of my days outside doing stuff in the garden or napping in the shade of my trees. I don’t go to the beach IRL, not even when the temperature rise above 30 degrees. I like swimming in the ocean, but the thought of getting myself to and from the ocean when it unbelievable hot, is just too much effort.

But last night I got a message that Cica Ghost had opened a new SIM, so I went in-world to check it out. I really love SecondLife, and Daydreaming was perfect to get reacquainted with my best hobby.

Haveit Neox made a 10 minute machinima of the SIM and it is a beautiful tribute to the SIM.

A man gets out of bed and walk through a grey world – and past some scary characters to a woman with a sheep.

Opal Flight, the arts and entertainment sim,  features the art galleries and the stage for the stunning dance and particle performances.

This is a truly magical and fantastic place. Haveit Neox never disappoints, and just like last year this is a SIM where there is a beautiful above water world when you arrive, and when you descend down under the surface, you find a whole different world. In 2017 Haveit Neox has designed the SIM with Lilia Artis – a collaboration that isn’t new, but I think it’s the first time her name is on the gate to the SIM, but I’m not sure.

Underneath the surface there is official Art Gallery and what seems to be an arena – I’m guessing it will be used for the performances. There is also what appears to be a story of some fish that collects fish eggs in a cave and wheel them in wagons to another cave or something – I’m not sure. But I love it.

The installation at LEA 18, Cocytus: The 9th Circle of Hell, is Frankx Lefavre’s attempt to capture the mood of Dante’s Inferno. I have no idea if he succeed as I haven’t read any Dante, but the SIM is amazing. It was a perfect back-drop for Gora’s and my catch-up this morning.

The Spires of Andolys is a wonderful SIM sponsored by Dwarfins. At the centre is the castle that looks very much like a Disneyland Castle. It’s very cute.

But then I entered Poseidon’s Abyss. I spend the rest of day 2 at Poseidon’s Abyss. What an amazing build! It’s build by Haveit Neox – an artist I’ve admired for years. His exhibits always fascinate me, and Poseidon’s Abyss is no exception.
