I listened to gossip: The Last Trace – Kylie Jaxxon. I thought Kylie had passed away, but she came back. She had been very ill as she writes on my.secondlife, but now she is back, and I am so happy about that.

But this makes me wonder about our online legacy and how we inform ourselves on our online friends. I haven’t heard from my SL partner for a couple of months – not in world or outside, and I wonder and worry. He lives on the other side of the world so I can’t just pop round to check on him. I have met some of his RL family members in world, but would they think to let me know if anything happened to Michaell? I’m not so sure.

And what when I leave here? My husband has instructions to cancel everything (just like Kylie’s eldest had), but he won’t log in and tell all my friends, so how will they know? There are no easy answers. But I promise myself in future I won’t add fuel to the fire when gossip flares.

Michaell is fine – I just got an email from him. Lots of stuff happening with his family at the moment, so things are a bit up in the air. But he is fine.

Just before I changed Binemist – when I got fed up with all the snow and lack of colour – I filmed it. Well most of it… I forgot the forrest and the ski slope, but there you go. Nothing to be done about it now. Here is the result:

I filmed Binemist over the weekend, and yesterday I finished editing it. I used Sorten Muld as back-ground music. Their tune is very Nordic and it fits the mood of my Beach so well.

New Farm House

One of my favourite designers in SecondLife POST has started making Mesh building, so I decided to change the farm house on Biminist to the Gunflint Cabin and Gnesen Farm Shed from POST. I liked how the NaLa Nord Thatch House. It looked right, but the inside was a bit crammed, and I never did anything with the inside. But the buildings from POST I can do stuff to inside. Here is a film I shot today of the Gunflint Cabin.

POST Suntaks Gamla Kyrka

Before I changed my parcel to the Arty Bine Beach, it had a very nice church on it made by POST (SLurl). I love anything from POST but the church is special. I had wanted a church to put on my parcel for a while as I think the idea of using the church as a living space is very interesting and exciting, even in the real world. But it is not easy to make possible in the real world, but in SecondLife anything is possible.

POST Kyrka

I made a video, Machinima of Bine wondering in front of the church and inside it. it is rich in detail and she wants to show it all off.

The coolest thing about the church is that you can find in the real world in Sweden.

Suntaks Gamla Kyrka

Van Auster has made his SL copy very true to the original, and I would love to go and see the real thing in Sweden. It would be fantastic, I think, and Sweden is not so far away. I think I shall go one day very soon. I’ll let you know how that pans out.
